ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re seeking an Events Manager for the Framatome Fuel who thrives in fast-paced environments and delivers remarkable experiences.
You’ll be responsible for the strategy, execution, and communication for high-impact technical and commercial events—both inside and outside our organization, that strengthen employees’ engagement, drive client relationships, and elevate our market presence.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and excels at both relationship-building and project management.
YOUR MISSION
Within the Fuel Business Unit, you will report to the Fuel Business Unit Head of Communications & Marketing and will be part of the Fuel BU Marketing committee chaired by the Fuel BU Commercial & customer center SVP.
Internal Events
- Design and execute dynamic internal events: technical webinars, internal campaign launches, employee recognition programs, leadership offsites, and team-building sessions.
- Partner with HR, leadership and department heads to align event themes with company vision and culture.
- Drive engagement through innovative formats and interactive experiences.
- Manage end-to-end logistics: venues, vendors, budgets, and timelines.
- Craft compelling internal communications & support material to maximize participation and impact.
- Measure and report on the success of internal events, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
External Events (Technical & Commercial)
- Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and event plans of technical conferences, trade shows, client summits, and product demos.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to showcase our expertise and solutions.
- Build relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead the planning and delivery ensuring flawless event execution—on time, on budget, and on brand.
- Amplify our presence through strategic pre- and post-event communications.
- Represent the organization at events when needed, serving as a key point of contact for attendees, speakers, and partners.
- Craft compelling exernal communications & support material (visuals, booth, prints, social media, video...) to maximize vibility and impact.
- Stay current with industry trends to bring innovative ideas and best practices to our event strategy.
Profile
Must-Have Skills
- Master’s degree in communications, Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field or with a technical background such as engineering with appetite for communication and high sense of creativity.
- 5–8 years’ experience in event management, communications, or related fields ideally in international context.
- Fluency in English and French required (spoken and written).
- Proven track record with technical and commercial events.
- Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Graphic design or content creation skills.
- Creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours as event schedules require.
Nice-to-Have skills
- Experience in the tech or B2B sector.
- Experience with international event coordination and multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with event management software and digital tools.
- Advanced training or coursework in project management, digital marketing, or corporate communications.
- Multilingual abilities (German, other languages)
